Thai Cabinet Reshuffle Finalized, Coalition Still United, Says PM Paetongtarn

BANGKOK — Thailand’s Prime Minister Paetongtarn Shinawatra offered reassurance on Tuesday, confirming that the long-awaited cabinet reshuffle has been finalized and that the ruling coalition remains firmly intact—despite recent political turbulence.

“It’s done. I’ve spoken with every party leader, and the process is now in the vetting stage,” Paetongtarn shared candidly with reporters, exuding calm confidence.

This statement comes in the wake of concerns sparked by the departure of the coalition’s second-largest partner just last week. While some feared this might fracture the alliance, the Prime Minister made it clear that communication and collaboration among the remaining parties have kept the foundation solid.

She also dismissed swirling rumors about her possibly taking over the Defence Ministry, saying firmly that such speculation was unfounded.

In a time when political uncertainty can rattle public confidence, Paetongtarn’s clear and composed message aims to steady the ship and assure citizens that the government remains focused and united.
